This guide will show you, step by step, how to connect WPForms to Emailchef so that every signup form becomes a direct source of new leads for your campaigns.

1. Prepare your WordPress site.

Make sure you’re using WordPress version 5.0 or later.

Install and activate the WPForms plugin, then create the signup form you’ll use to collect contacts (for example, “Newsletter” or “Request Information”).

2. Create your list in Emailchef.

Log in to your Emailchef account and create a new contact list that will store subscribers coming from WPForms. To do this, click Lists and Segments from the left sidebar in your dashboard, then click Create a New List.

Give your list a name, for example: Contacts from WPForms.

Confirm that your list complies with the Anti-SPAM Policy and Privacy Policy, then click Create.

You can create a different list for each form to keep customers, resellers, or suppliers organized separately.

3. Install the Emailchef plugin on WordPress.

Go back to your WordPress site and install the Emailchef plugin.

Once the installation is complete, activate the plugin.

4. Connect WordPress to your Emailchef account.

In your WordPress dashboard, go to Emailchef.

Here you’ll need to enter your API keys generated in Emailchef. To do so, click Get API Key, this will take you to your Emailchef account, in the API Keys section.

Click Create API Key.

Give your API key a name (e.g., “WPForms”) and copy the Consumer Key and Consumer Secret into the required fields in WordPress.

Click Login to complete the connection.

5. Link your WPForms form to your Emailchef list.

Now select the form you created in WPForms and link it to your Emailchef list using the dropdown menu next to Emailchef List.

Click Save to confirm the connection.

6. Map your form fields.

Next, proceed with field mapping. Match your form fields (name, email, phone, etc.) to the corresponding fields in your Emailchef list.

If your list is missing some fields, click Create and map unmapped fields automatically, Emailchef will create them for you.

Once done, click Save.

7. Add the form to your site.

Copy the WPForms shortcode and paste it into the page or section of your website where you want the signup form to appear.
